About Us

At Hexany Audio, we believe great game audio is built on great collaboration. Founded in 2012, we craft custom sound design and music for some of the world’s top games and interactive media experiences.

As a full-time team of 22 working together onsite, we put just as much care into our people as we do into our craft. We don’t work nights. We don’t work weekends. We don’t crunch. We also offer unlimited PTO and aim to create a studio environment you’ll genuinely love coming to.

About the Role

As Producer, you’ll manage our co-dev and outsourcing pipelines from kickoff through final delivery, aligning internal teams and clients around clear goals and outcomes. You’ll partner closely with the company leadership to drive projects forward — owning communications, tasks, schedules, and project logistics.

Over the past decade, we’ve invested heavily in building robust task management systems and automations that power our workflows. You won’t be walking into chaos — you’ll be stepping into a thoughtfully built environment, and we’re looking for a partner who shares our passion for continually refining and improving how we work.

Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day production across our audio teams, coordinating schedules and ensuring alignment with internal and client deadlines
  • Set up and assign new tasks, track progress, and keep schedules on course
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks, dependencies, and risks, and drive solutions to keep projects moving
  • Contribute to the ongoing refinement of our production processes to increase efficiency, improve automation, and reduce busy work
  • Organize and clearly communicate notes, updates, and feedback from clients to our team
  • Arrange and facilitate meetings with our team and clients, and lead our daily morning meeting when the Audio Director is unavailable
  • Work with our Studio Assistant, who supports your role and our sound design team
  • Review and prepare deliveries, ensuring proper file-naming conventions and delivery specs are followed
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed — we’re a tight-knit team and sometimes might need you to lend a hand
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a production or project management role in a game development environment
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task across many active projects
  • Experience managing project schedules and monitoring milestones and individual tasks against them
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with leadership ability to guide teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and resolve challenges as they arise
