While I don’t usually post personal anecdotes to our blog, I had such a great time at the MassDiGI Game Challenge yesterday that I wanted to share the great experience I had as a mentor for their program in Boston!
I met with seven of the competing teams and offered advice for taking the audio in their games to the next level. There were some truly fantastic projects in the running this year, and we were able to brainstorm some very creative ideas for exploiting interactivity in their sound and music to drive narrative and gameplay. All in all, I had a wonderful time! If you know any students looking to pursue a career in game development, they also offer a great looking summer program.
